DxMod (Framework master and Data Control)

Definition

A string specifying the class used for data exchange functions. Data exchange functionality is used in code for classes generated by the Sapphire Java class wizard. This code moves data from the row set to a GUI (or potentially non-GUI) elements. It also moves data in the opposite direction before insert, update, and delete operations.

A simple example of a data exchange function is the exchange between a database bit field and java.awt.checkbox.
A "1" in the database field corresponds to a setting of the checkbox.
The default is to use an instance of SaVj.SaDx. To override this and add to its functionality, derive a class from this class. The class specification must be a relative to the codebase specification for the applet.

Requirements

If the class specified by the value of this parameter is not derived as stated above, then the class will not be used and the default is used in its place.
If the class cannot be found, the default is used.
The class must contain no constructor or one with no parameters, and the constructor should be public. If not, then the class will not be loadable, and the default will be used.
If no value is supplied with this parameter, the default is used.
